A Study on Strategy for Utilizing Social Software to Promote Primary and Secondary School Teachers’ Application Capability of Information Technologies

Abstract: There are specific advantages in promoting primary and secondary teachers’ application capability of information technologies through social software one is that the construction of hardware equipment has provided a sufficient premise, and the other one is that low-cost online training takes an advantage in terms of finance. To promote the capability speedily, multifunctional chat rooms with “online supervisors” as the backbone should be built; that the content of “resource library” should be trained as needed and be practical, and creativeness should be taken as a principle; “periodical assessment” platform should be combined with that of “achievement exhibition”; coordinated with national strategies, the advantage of modern radio and television universities and colleges for distance education should be fully taken to train the teachers at post.
