An Empirical Study on the Fiscal and Taxation Policies of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone

Abstract: On the basis of data from 2000 to 2012 of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, the authors used the IS-LM model to empirically analyze the performance on fiscal and taxation policies of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. The findings are as followsfirst, the structural reform and innovation of the Economic Zone government should be proceeded. Second, the transfer payment towards the Economic Zone should be enlarged. Finally, more efforts should be made to adjust the taxation system.
