基于程式传承的侗族款词诠释

Abstract

Abstract: This paper applies the Parry-Lord formulaic theory of oral composition, along with van Dijk’s macrostructure theory of discourse, as well as the discourse implantation theory, to the analysis of Kuant Ci’s simplified mechanism of transmission in terms of its formulaic, semantic and phonetic structures. It is found that the language, themes, and structure of Kuant Ci vividly exemplify the entertainment value, simplicity, memorability, and the ease of transmission of oral poetry.
