The Philosophical Implication of Xi Jinping’s Thought of “An All-Out Effort to Enforce Strict Party Discipline”

Abstract: General Secretary Xi Jinping’s thought of “an all-out effort to enforce strict Party discipline”implies profound philosophical meanings. This thought grasps the rule of strictly administering the Party overall and emphasizes every aspect of governing the Party strictly. Xi Jinping puts forward that every policy in administering the Party should be strong, which embodies the holistic thought. It is comprehensive and integrated, but it focuses on key points on the overall basis, which shows the theory of emphasis. The idea of “an all-out effort to enforce strict Party discipline”arises from the Party itself and it is the high reflection of Chinese Communist Party’s self-restrain, its consciousness of self-being and self-making, which fully embodies the thought of subjectivity. What’s more, Xi’s thought in governing the Party comes from practice but transcend practice. At the same time, the thought is not an illusive slogan, but urges us to apply theory in practice so as to guide the Party’s self-construction, enhance the Party’s fighting capacity, leadership and execution, which reflects practical ideas.
