Study on the Problem of Boarding Education for Left-behind Children in High Schools: Based on the Analysis of 15 Related Documents

Abstract: It is worth paying high attention to the education problem of the millions of left-behind children in high schools in China. This paper uses textual close reading method to analyze 15 related documents and found the following problems: the left-behind children in the boarding high schools get the long term and full space physical and mental disciplining, their regular education is along with punishment, the teaching quality is poor as a whole, the relationship between teachers and students is extremely bad, the main body spirit needs to be strengthened, and their study and life are awash with troubles and pains. The leaders and competent departments of the left-behind children’s boarding schools must pay great importance to the self-awakening and continuous strengthening of the main body spirit of teachers and students.
