Abstract: This paper analyzes the correlation between Chinese service trade exports and its carbon emissions making use of the relevant data from 1989 to 2013. Results show that there is a positive long-term equilibrium relationship between service trade exports and its carbon emissions. Short-term dynamic model validates that the change of service trade exports also has a great impact on its carbon emissions in a short-term period. However, Granger causality test shows that there does not exists long causality, and the effect analysis indicates that the scale and structure effect of carbon emissions of the correcting exports of service trade is negative, that the technical effect is positive, and that the overall effect is negative.
