The Moral Guidance of Primary and Secondary School Students' Extracurricular Life in the Image Age

Abstract: Our society has been experiencing a special transfer, one from “a text world” to “an image world”. This kind of turn ushers in a new era, the “image era” that we are involved in. In this age, young students are labeled as “screen teenagers” for the great change of their living style. This requires us to reexamine the “visible” and “invisible” in images. Such “visible” images can be employed in school moral education for the “invisible” moral education. In other words, new media technology means, through the extracurricular activities, can be adopted for moral guidance to primary and secondary school students.
