Abstract: Productivity is the core category of historical materialism. A new change of human-digital-intelligence that new quality productive force manifests in terms of the system of production relations requires a historical materialist examination of human beings, the core element of productive forces, against social existence. The birth of new-quality productive forces is a must under a higher demand for productive forces put forward by the practical innovation of Marxist theory on productive forces in China, the advanced consciousness of the Party and the real needs of the reality of people. In view of this, it is necessary to accelerate the formation of a new type of production relations adapted to the development of productive forces, deepen the change of production relations, break the shackles of production relations—to promote the development of new quality productive forces in terms of man and nature, society and talent cultivation, reflecting the unity of productive forces and production relations. Finally, the new quality productive forces, through the new interpretation, drawn from intelligent media, virtual matter and free labor, of human and the human sensual activity-the object world-the practice of self-consciousness, of the confirmation of the essential power between man and man, of the manufacture and transformation of the object world, of the free and self-conscious labor practice, construct the digital mode of human existence, thus reflecting the fact that it is in line with the new mode of existence of human beings from the perspective of historical materialism.

Key words: new quality productive forces, new production relations, social consciousness, historical materialism
