The concept of new quality productive forces is highly compatible with the purpose of organized scientific research in universities, and both demonstrate the holistic characteristics such as innovation driven, system related, and dynamically balanced. As a methodological guidance for studying the complex ecosystem of new quality productivity and organized scientific research in local universities, the theory of systems science analyzes the relationship between the two based on its principles of innovation, integrity, relevance, and adaptability. It can be found that organized scientific research in local universities confronts with headaches such as insufficient innovation motivation, poor overall collaboration, incomplete system architecture, and limited dynamic leadership ability. Therefore, it is necessary to start from analyzing the three core elements of new quality productive forces, namely new workers, emerging labor materials, and new forms of labor objects, and explore the inherent relationship between organized scientific research in local universities and regional economic and social development. This will form a new organizational model supported by interdisciplinary collaboration, a new research model centered on technological innovation, and a new development model aimed at deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application. Furthermore, a dual triangle collaborative model for organized scientific research development in local universities will be constructed. Local universities should actively play the role of education as the first cornerstone, technology as the first productive force, and talent as the first resource. Starting from top-level design, system, structure, and action, they should adhere to goal orientation, rule engine, structural optimization, and collective action, form an organized scientific research new direction that matches the development of new quality productive forces, thus enhancing their ability to serve regional economic and social development.
