Abstract: Through the least square method, the authors set up an econometric model of the influence factors between practical per capita consumption expenditure and per capita disposable income of Guangxi urban residents, and dissect the major factors constraining the consumption of urban residents. This research shows that the practical per capita disposable income, the per capita fiscal expenditure and Gini coefficient have great impacts on the practical per capita consumption expenditure. In order to increase the consumption of Guangxi urban residents, and improve the industrial structure, Guangxi should enhance the industrial agglomeration, promote the employment interaction and optimize the consumption environment and fiscal expenditure structure.
