Abstract: Cultural power is an important overall national strength. It is also the key factor that constrains the sustainable development of new rural areas in ethnic minority regions. Rural cultural power reflects the overall national cultural power in rural areas. It provides spiritual motivation, intellectual support and ideological guarantee for the new rural construction in ethnic regions. To solve the problem of lacking motivation while developing the rural areas sustainably, cultural power should play an efficient role as social identity, harmonious strength, productive forces and innovation power in building new countryside, and provide effective value identity, stable social environment, forceful economic security and vigorous vitality.
