Tomas Transtrmer’s Inheritance and Development on the Tradition of European Poetry

Abstract: Thomas Transtrmer from Sweden is a well-known poet in the world. With his great talent, he integrated European tradition of poetry from the ancient Greece to the 20th century, thus his poems possessing complex inherited relationships and various sources. And his poems have both piorneering and traditional characters.
