A Study of Guilin Music Education in the Anti-Japanese War

Abstract: During the anti-Japanese War period, the development of Guilin music education was attributed to the liberal political environment and efforts from Guilin cultural workers. As one of important parts of musical culture movement in the anti-Japanese War, Guilin music education made great progress in its teaching styles, teaching materials, teaching contents and teachers under the background of the implementation of national elementary education and the outbreak of the War. Also, its achievements and experience during the War could be used for reference for today’s music education.
