Analysis on Interdisciplinary Research of Pedagogy

Abstract: Interdisciplinary research refers to a new study paradigm which uses theories and methods of various disciplines to investigate a certain phenomenon, matter or problem so as to obtain a general and integrated knowledge. The essential aim of interdisciplinary research is to achieve an integrated generation for researchers, with cross-disciplinary research literacy and capacity, who follow consistent principles of the research fields and dual logic of both embracing development and being preservative. The primary impetuses to establish the new paradigm of interdisciplinary research of pedagogy lie in the comprehensiveness of the educational science, the particularity of the educational objects, the complexity of the educational problems and the openness of the educational knowledge. The basic implementation programs of interdisciplinary research of pedagogy are to reach consensus in interdisciplinary research, assemble educational crossover research teams, develop interdisciplinary thinking, and integrate innovative combined educational research methods.
