流动性社会下文化自信的心理建设进路

The Psychological Construction Approach to Cultural Confidence in A Mobile Society

摘要: 文化自信是指一定的文化主体对利用从自身文化中习得的知识和惯例成功处理各种社会情境的积极评估和预期,是对自身文化生命力及价值的自豪感和肯定。在人口迁移、文化迁移和文化变迁三条脉络下,当代社会的“流动性”转向凸显了对文化自信的主体、客体和主客体关系的新认识。基于对这些新认识的综合性分析,从心理学视角提出文化自信包含认知、情感和动机三种成分,坚定中华民族文化自信的心理路径应从认知、情绪和动机三方面入手,具体包括建立共通、共融、共享的文化价值观,以及培育与生命哲学相呼应的文化情感、提升文化创新动机等。

Abstract: Cultural confidence refers to the positive assessment and expectation of a subject from a certain culture to succeed in dealing with various social situations, through knowledge and practices learned from that culture; it is a sense of pride and affirmation of one's own cultural vitality and value. Under the contexts of population migration, cultural transfer, and cultural change, the contemporary “mobility” turn highlights a new understanding of the relationship between the subject and object of cultural confidence. Based on a comprehensive analysis of these new understandings, we propose from a psychological perspective that cultural confidence comprises three components: cognition, emotion, and motivation. The psychological path for building Chinese national cultural confidence, therefore, should start from that three aspects. To be more specific, we should build common, inclusive, and shared cultural values, nurture cultural emotions that echo the common cultural philosophy of life, and enhance motivations for cultural innovation.
