Abstract: On Wen-xuan authored by Muxuanxu, there are different annotations by Li Shan and five scholars. Annotated by these six scholars, Wen-xuan in the version of Kyujanggak in Korea is regarded as the original one, while the editions appeared in Mingzhou and Ganzhou have been mostly abridged in their versions. Through the study in Kyujanggak, He Zhuo pointed out that there are some incorrectness in the annotated version of Li Shan, who understood “what Huaji have said” as “people from Guangchuang”. Besides, the sentence, quoted by Zhang Xian, who holds that“Mu hua is from Guangchuang and he works as an civilian officer in Yang House”, is not originated from Qi Zhi, but as an example rewritten by the five scholars.

Key words: Wen-xuan annotated by six scholars, Kyujanggak, Haifu, Mu Hua
