On Academic Review——Opinions about A Review on the Hundred Years Studies of Wen-xuan

Abstract: Academic review plays an important role in displaying the status and promoting the process of academic research. Especially, Literary Review becomes an exemplary model in the academic circles with its great influence. However, A Review on the Hundred Years Studies of Wen-xuan,as an academic review, has serious deficiencies in such aspects as object definition, literature search, narrative methods and commentary. This review should be analyzed and rectified; otherwise, it will mislead future researchers. Therefore, this paper puts forward suggestions to deal with the above deficiencies from the writing perspective of academic review.
