马克思主义哲学视域下的美好生活

Abstract

Abstract: Since ancient Greece, the philosophical journey about a good life, with its different interpretations, has provided different solutions for dealing with the relationship between community and individual. Marx and Engels’ demand for a good life, embodied in their prospect of communism, relying on the association of free individuals, refers to a “better human society” on the basis of material productive forces development. The distinctive significances of “a good life” in the view of Marxist philosophy are implied as follows: (1) the association of free individuals sorts out the relationship between individual and community; (2) historical materialism organically combines the material and the spirit; (3) the communist society underlines the richness of the individual development.
