Abstract

Abstract: ChatGPT, as a new type of chat tool, is not just employed for on-line chatting, and its application will also have a huge impact on politics, economy, culture, education and other fields, thus influencing the field of online political communication. From the perspective of possibility, ChatGPT will provide new empowerment to online political communication, resulting in its paradoxical expansion. It not only brings new improvements to online political communication, but also gives it a trend of alienation; it not only brings disruptive and revolutionary changes to online political communication technology, but also infuses new challenges, certainty and uncertainty, to online political communication.
