Abstract: Building a community with shared interests is the foundation and core of a community with a shared future for mankind. Through the “Belt and Road” international cooperation in recent years, Chinese enterprises has created value for the enterprises, the people and the government of the host countries and thus laid the foundation for further cooperation. Even so, there have been some inherent problems and business environment challenges, such as irrational investment structure, insufficient experience in overseas operation, conflicts with local workers, and heavy debts of some host countries. Therefore, as for Chinese overseas enterprises, a “Belt and Road” community with shared interests needs to be built, that is, to build a development community that deeply integrates the enterprises and stakeholders of all parties: first, the enterprises should make good research and industrial development plan to find the right points for the common interests; second, the enterprises should actively integrate into the local society and form interests relations through the performance of social responsibilities; thirdly, the enterprises should strengthen capacity-building and enhance the ability to expand common interests; finally, it is also necessary for China to establish a multi-level normative and guarantee system for government and industry associations. Through the construction of this community, the trade and investment of enterprises in the countries along the route will usher in new prospects, thus laying the foundation in realizing a community with a shared future for mankind.
