Critique of the Text Interpretation Method of Philosophy Research

Abstract: Text interpretation is a basic method of philosophy research, but it may give rise to text positivism if applied without reflection. The latest book of Han Lixin, Paris Manuscripts Study-A Turning Point of Marx’s Thoughts, is a good work of text interpretation, but it did not get rid of the influence of text positivism. The super objective of philosophy is to reflect and criticize human life, and text interpretation is just a tool and method of this objective, which is to activate the text by the reality of each era. To break through the veil of the text requires the spirit of phenomenology of “facing the reality itself”
